Breweries are actually a great work from anywhere option, especially if you enjoy a drink or two while you check off your to-do list, write code, answer emails, etc. Below is a list of beautiful Brooklyn breweries to bring your laptop to for the day or afternoon—most of which offer non-alc options and food menus as well.
The Test Brewery
Futurist in style and filled with natural light, The Test Brewery in Williamsburg is a spacious spot to work from if you want to switch up your usual coffee shop WFH days. Since they open at noon on most days, plan out your work accordingly!
Talea
With multiple locations in Brooklyn (Williamsburg and Cobble Hill) and more in Manhattan, Talea always has tons of open seating during the day and great vibes. And considering they open at 10am every day and offer plenty of non-alcohoholic options if you’re not into the boozy-workday thing, Talea is a super reliable work from anywhere spot.
Threes Brewing
Located in Gowanus and Greenpoint, plus other locations around New York, Threes is another great brewery to sit down with your laptop and get to work. It’s important to note that the Greenpoint location opens a lot later than the Gowanus location (Gowanus opens at noon every day), so plan accordingly. The Gowanus location also offers Ninth Street Espresso until 3pm every day, which makes it a perfect remote work option if you need to get out of your apartment.
Grimm Artisanal Ales
A family-owned favorite right off the Grand Street L stop in East Williamsburg, Grimm’s downstairs taproom opens at 2pm most days and noon on Fridays (+ the weekends). The taproom is beautiful with tons of seating, so it’s a great place to get some work done in the afternoons.
Keg & Lantern
Though Keg & Lantern has multiple locations in Brooklyn, their Greenpoint location opens earliest at 11am every day, making it the most ideal for a work from anywhere day. The menu also offers a handful of non-alcoholic options if you need to wait until their great happy hour deal to imbibe.
